Programs and Services

Housing is so much more than a roof over your head. When you have the housing that is right for you, you lead a happier and healthier life. Housing Nova Scotia offers programs to help lower income households rent and maintain safe and affordable housing. For homeowners we offer grants and loans for home repairs and additions to make sure your house is your home. We also offer mortgage funds and grants to help purchase or build modest houses.

Our current programs are designed to help low-income households, seniors and persons with disabilities. Over the coming months and years, we are working to introduce programs to support a broader range of Nova Scotians.
